Qualitätsmanagement nach DIN ISO 9001:2015 — en
We have had a sophisticated quality management system in place for decades in order to guarantee our customers consistently high quality and to constantly review and improve our internal processes.
For this reason we underwent voluntary certification in accordance with the DIN ISO 9001:2015 quality standard back in 1993 and ever since then have undergone regular audits of our quality management system by DQS. Following successful completion of the audit at the beginning of the year, our certification has been renewed until 2024.
In addition to the main plant in Kahl, the Messadine site (Tunisia) was also audited again.

„Made in Germany“ guarantees that our products have really been manufactured in Germany. Kopp has been developing, manufacturing and selling electrotechnical products in Germany for more than 90 years and is committed to this tradition. That is why the company has concentrated the majority of its manufacturing activities, in particular the assembly of sockets and switches, in Kahl am Main again in recent years. The interaction between manufacturing, development, product management, sales and quality assurance at one common location allows shorter distances and thus a faster reaction to customers and market requirements.
Kopp has been working with the ISO 9001 quality management system since 1993, and since then has undergone regular audits of all its locations. Compliance with strict German and European standards such as PAH, ROHS, WEEE, etc. is a matter of course for the company – but something that cannot always be assumed in the case of low-cost imports. At Kopp, the ISO 9001 QA system is embedded in our „CIP” management concept. CIP stands for „Continuous Improvement Process“ and is the continuous optimisation of quality, service and customer orientation in line with the Japanese „Kaizen“ philosophy, and is one of Kopp’s most important success factors.
Thanks to the continuous improvement process, which constantly enhances and optimises our products, and the cooperation between quality assurance and the other departments at one location, Kopp can afford to give customers a 20-year warranty for the switch ranges that guarantees the long-term safety of a quality „Made in Germany“ product.
