Does the DI-socket come with fixing claws for installation in the UP-switch box?
The DI-socket can only be attached to the UP-box with screws. Therefore, there are no fixing claws (lack of space within the switch box).
Can the PRCD-S be operated using an emergency power generator?
In the case of a power generator that does not have a protective conductor, PRCD-K (article number 1904…) is to be used. If the emergency power generator does have a protective conductor, PRCD-S may be used.
What is an RCD and why is it necessary in an electrical installation?
RCD is an abbreviation of the English term “Residual Current Device”. In Germany, RCDs are called fault current protection switches or FI protection switches. An RCD is a switch that can interrupt the circuit electromagnetically. This is necessary if, for example, fault current flows through a person due to an insulation fault.
